Worst "Dr. No" Ever
21/04/18 14:44
Recently my opponent painted me as an obstructionist, someone who almost always votes no, and that I am the only one who does so. Well, either my opponent is being deceitful or he just isn’t paying attention. Here are the actual figures:
My total “No” percentage is less than 11% and represents only just under half of the time the council vote was split. Each time I have voted no has been a principled stand for the Bedford taxpayer and almost all of those times I have given a lengthy, detailed account of why I was going to vote that way.
I have been transparent to the voters of Bedford, and have the records to show it.
Year | Yes | No | Split | % Split | % No |
2015 | 39 | 3 | 6 | 14.29% | 7.14% |
2016 | 50 | 9 | 13 | 22.03% | 15.25% |
2017 | 105 | 12 | 20 | 17.09% | 10.26% |
2018 | 19 | 2 | 5 | 23.81% | 9.52% |
Total | 213 | 26 | 44 | 18.41% | 10.88% |
